Cracked glass, a battery that won't last, a charging port that's stopped working — we repair iPads of every kind at our Canggu store, starting at Rp 500,000. Diagnosis is free, and you get a written quote before we open anything.
01 What it costs
iPad repair starts at Rp 500,000 (around US$31). Because "iPad repair" covers very different jobs — a charging port versus a Pro screen — the final price depends on your model and what it actually needs. We diagnose first, free, and quote before any work begins.
iPads are worth quoting carefully. The glass and display on an iPad are bonded together, and on the larger Pro models the part is expensive. We'll always tell you the honest figure against the value of your iPad before you commit — and if a repair isn't worth it, we'll say so.
02 What we repair
Common iPad repairs we handle:
✓ Screens & glass
- Cracked or shattered front glass
- Unresponsive or dead touch areas
- Lines, black spots or discolouration
- Ghost touch / phantom input
✓ Everything else
- Batteries that drain fast or won't hold charge
- Charging ports that are loose or dead
- Liquid-damage rescue and cleaning
- Buttons, cameras and speakers
03 How long it takes
Some iPad repairs are same-day; others depend on stock, because we don't hold every part for every model. iPad screens in particular are often ordered in rather than kept on the shelf. We'll give you a realistic timeframe when we quote — and if you're on a deadline, tell us and we'll be straight about whether it's achievable.
04 Models we handle
iPad Pro, iPad Air, iPad mini and the standard iPad, across current and older generations where parts remain available. If your iPad is old enough that parts are getting scarce, we'll tell you what we can source and what it costs before you decide.
We also repair iPhones and MacBooks — see the full picture on our Apple repair overview.
05 A note on iPad screens
Worth knowing before you decide: on many iPads the glass (digitiser) and the display are one bonded unit, so a cracked screen usually means replacing the whole assembly, not just the outer glass. That's why an iPad screen can cost more than an iPhone one. On some models the two can be separated, on others they can't — we'll tell you which applies to yours during the free diagnosis, so there are no surprises on the quote.
06 Your warranty
Standard iPad repairs carry a 30-day warranty on parts and labour, written on your repair receipt. If the part we fitted fails, or the fault we fixed returns, we re-repair it free. Liquid-damage work is the exception — because corrosion is unpredictable, it's done on a best-effort basis and isn't covered. Full terms are on our warranty policy page.
07 Before you bring it in
- Back up your iPad to iCloud or a computer if it still lets you. Any repair carries some risk to data.
- Know your passcode — we need to power up and test before returning it.
- Turn off Find My if you can, or be ready to sign in when you collect.
- Message us your model for a price or to check parts before you make the trip.
08 Common questions
How much does iPad repair cost in Bali?
From Rp 500,000 at our Canggu store, depending on model and what it needs. Quoted exactly after a free diagnosis.
Can you just replace the glass, not the whole screen?
On some iPad models yes, on others the glass and display are bonded and must be replaced together. We'll tell you which applies to yours.
Do you fix iPad charging problems?
Yes — often a charging port clean or replacement, sometimes a cable or battery issue. The free diagnosis tells us which.
My iPad got wet — can you help?
Yes, we do liquid-damage rescue. Turn it off, don't charge it, and bring it in fast — corrosion spreads. That work is best-effort and not warranty-covered.
