01 What it costs
MacBook screen replacement starts at Rp 2,500,000 (around US$155). The spread on MacBooks is wider than on phones — a smaller Air panel sits near the bottom of the range, while a large Pro display costs substantially more, because the part itself does.
We quote before we open it. Diagnosis is free. You see the exact figure for your specific model and decide then — and if the answer is that the repair isn't worth it against the value of the machine, we'll tell you that too.

02 How long it takes
MacBook displays are not a same-day job in the way phone screens usually are. The work itself is straightforward for us, but parts are the constraint — we don't hold panels for every model, and the right display often has to be ordered in.
We'll give you a realistic timeframe when we quote, before you leave the machine with us. If you're on a deadline or flying out, say so when you message and we'll tell you honestly whether it's achievable rather than have you find out later.
03 Is it actually the screen?
These usually do mean the display:
- Cracked or physically damaged glass.
- Vertical or horizontal lines, or a distinct band across the picture.
- Dark or discoloured patches, or areas of dead pixels that spread.
- Backlight failure — the image is faintly there under a torch but not lit.
- Flickering that changes as you open and close the lid.
And these often don't: a MacBook that won't power on, one that boots to a blank screen but chimes normally, or one that works fine on an external monitor. Those point to the logic board or graphics rather than the panel — which is a different repair. We do board-level component work too, so either way we can tell you what's really wrong during the free diagnosis instead of selling you the expensive guess.
04 Which displays we fit
We fit Retina and Liquid Retina displays matched to your model, with True Tone preserved where the machine supports it. As an independent repair business, we state the grade of part on your quote before you agree — we don't describe a part as manufacturer-original unless it is, and we don't charge original prices for parts that aren't.
05 Models we repair
MacBook Air and MacBook Pro, all sizes — including current Apple silicon machines and earlier Intel models where panels remain available. If your MacBook is old enough that displays are getting scarce, we'll tell you what we can source and what it costs before you commit to anything.
We also handle MacBook batteries, keyboards, logic board repair and data recovery. If you're not sure which you need, bring it in — the diagnosis is free.
06 Your warranty
Every MacBook screen replacement carries a 30-day warranty on parts and labour, written on your repair receipt. If the display we fitted fails, or the fault we were paid to fix returns, we re-repair it free.

07 Before you bring it in
- Back up to Time Machine or iCloud. Any repair carries some risk to data, and we can't guarantee it.
- Know your login password. We need to boot the machine and test the new display properly.
- Turn off Find My if you can, or be ready to sign in when you collect.
- Send us your model first — from Apple menu → About This Mac — so we can check panel availability before you carry the machine over.

How much is a MacBook screen replacement in Bali?

Can you do it the same day?
Usually not — panels often need ordering in. We'll give you a realistic timeframe when we quote, before you leave the machine.
My MacBook works on an external monitor. Is the screen dead?
Possibly, but not necessarily — that symptom can also point to the display cable or the graphics side of the board. Worth a free diagnosis before committing to a panel.
Is it worth repairing an older MacBook?
Sometimes not, and we'll say so. If the panel costs more than the machine is worth, we'd rather tell you than take the job.
Do you repair the logic board too?
Yes — board-level component repair and soldering, including GPU, RAM and chip-level diagnosis, from Rp 1,500,000.
