01 What it costs
MacBook logic board repair starts at Rp 1,500,000 (around US$94). Board work is diagnosis-led — the price depends on what actually failed and how involved the repair is — so we assess it first, free, and quote before any paid work. Component-level repair is very often far cheaper than a full board replacement, which is why it's worth diagnosing properly rather than assuming the board is a write-off.
02 Is it actually the logic board?
Signs that point to the board:
- The Mac won't power on at all — no chime, no fans, no light.
- It powers on but shows no display, while an external monitor also stays black.
- It died after liquid contact and won't come back.
- Random shutdowns, boot loops, or it only runs with the charger in a certain way.
- It won't charge regardless of which battery or adapter you use.
Some of these overlap with a bad battery, charging port or display — so the free diagnosis matters. We isolate the real cause before recommending board work, rather than starting with the most expensive assumption.
03 What we actually do
- Full diagnosis under magnification and with board-level measurement, to find the actual failed component or circuit.
- Micro-soldering to replace individual failed components — power ICs, resistors, capacitors, connectors.
- Liquid-damage board repair — ultrasonic cleaning, corrosion removal, and replacing damaged parts.
- GPU, RAM and power-circuit level faults where they're repairable.
- Testing across power, charging, display and boot before we return it.
04 Why component-level repair
When an official route calls for a board replacement, you're often paying to swap the entire board because one small component failed. Component-level repair fixes that specific part instead. It takes more skill and the right equipment, but it's usually dramatically cheaper — and it keeps your original board, which on modern Macs is tied to your storage and can matter for your data.
05 Being honest about it
Board repair is specialised, and we set expectations plainly. Not every board is repairable — severe damage, a failed main processor, or long-term corrosion can put a board beyond economical repair. When that's the case, we tell you before spending your money, and talk through the options.

06 Your data
On many Macs the storage is soldered to the logic board, so the board's condition and your files are linked. If getting your data back is the priority, tell us up front — it changes how we approach the repair. We also offer dedicated data recovery from Rp 750,000. Back up before any repair whenever the machine still allows it.
07 Before you bring it in
- Stop trying to power it on repeatedly, especially after liquid — it can make things worse.
- Bring the charger you normally use, so we can test the charging circuit properly.
- Tell us the history — a spill, a drop, a failed update — it speeds up diagnosis.
